Calling an Illegal Immigrant an Undocumented Worker. . . .
Bart Hinkle
May 21, 2008 8:38 AM

. . . they say, is like calling a drug dealer an undocumented pharmacist

Reader Comments:

“Undocumented alien does not hurt their feelings or stigmatize them in society.”

Yes it does. That is why its far more decent to say undocumented WORKER—not undocumented alien. The word “alien” tends to de-humanize them , leading to further loss of self-esteem which leads to loss of productivity at the Wal-Marts & construction sites.

We liberals are taking back this country that is rightfully ours. It was stolen by Yankee Reaganites back in the 80s and has been lost to us ever since, locked behind an iron wall of repression, intolerance, and guard towers mined with cameras, INS agents, dogs, and roving uniformed jackbooted Karl Rove types.

No matter. We breed better than conservatives. Much better. Our masses, brown, black, redneck, or as Hillary likes to call us, “white working class”, will take control. We shall overcome. We shall rise up. We shall migrate. I have a dream. I have a coyote.

“Veni, vidi, migrate-ie.”

We are many and you are few. Fear not. The downtown T-D bldg has been outfitted with gun turrets and tank barriers. You may take refuge when the time comes. Maybe even send out for burritos.

I for one am considering voting to make everyone illegal. That way no one gets offended at the language. No one gets mad at me for any silly comments. You are ALL illegal in my book.

Guilty until proven innocent. None of our documents are any good anyway. Do you know how easy it is to forge a driver’s license ?

I have petitioned Bart countless times to allow me behind those big gates at the T-D after the riots begin (over the price of gasoline), but he refuses my earnest entreaties. I will be on my own, as you, with naught but our belief in the 2nd Amendment, praise Heston, to save us from Ragnarok.

The oncoming inevitable end of times as we now know it. Richmond will be named Margaritaville. I like it. Catchy name.  Works for me. Richmond is so, um, boring for a name. Wouldn’t you really rather live in Margaritaville ?

Why would one want to insult a lawbreaker? Undocumented alien does not hurt their feelings or stigmatize them in society. Same goes for handicapped or disabled. It is much more polite to say physically challenged, of course, it may also mean an overweight person or someone working out at the gym. Society should not let a little thing like language get in the way of communicating. Por Favor
