Interesting, and as usual, US citizenry never wants to attack the root causes of an issue. Instead it likes those patches and work-arounds.
In this case--offshore and Anwar drilling, more refineries,nuclear energy, windmills,stop agriculture subsidies and put the money into solar research.

One mans cooking grease is another man’s Exxon Mobil. For environmental reasons I have even invested in a company that makes this unseemingly unsavory practice their business!
