For a gloss on George Will’s displeasure with the White House, check out this piece, which argues that the world Will lives in doesn’t exist any longer. Will once wrote about conservatism as a movement to regain a superior but recoverable past. The author of the linked piece says, essentially: Get real.
Reader Comments:
I read this piece, just now. Unfortunately I’m unable to offer anything intelligent on this.
But I see he is labeled as a “Madisonian”. Hmm, that’s a new one—at least it is to me. Everybody is someone else. I mean, George Allen is a “Jeffersonian” (yes, of the Yosemite Sam sect of Jeffersonians).
What is Chesterfield County Manager Lane Ramsey? A “Nixonian”?
