You’re invited to submit your own entries for fawning media coverage of Barack Obama. Here’s today’s entry, from the Associated Press:
In this city where John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton all made famous speeches, Obama will find himself stepping into perhaps another iconic moment Thursday as his superstar charisma meets German adoration live in shadows of the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate. He then travels to Paris and London where he can expect to be greeted with similar adulation.
It’s not only Obama’s youth, eloquence and energy that have stolen hearts across the Atlantic. For Europeans, there have always been two Americas: one of cynicism, big business and bullying aggression, another of freedom, fairness and nothing-is-impossible dynamism.
If President Bush has been seen as the embodiment of that first America, Obama has raised expectations of a chance for the nation to redeem itself in the role that — at various times through history — Europe has loved, respected and relied upon.

I wonder why the net is so full of Obama “suck-ups” compared to everyday life? It seems like the social sites are infatuated with Obama. Me? I couldn’t careless about McCain or Obama, I think they’re both slimeball politicians.
Are conservatives jealous of Obama ? Is that it ???
There was some stop on his tour where he flew 40 journalists with him on his chartered plane, whereas McCain stopped to give a speech for a grand total of 3 journalists.
Forget Obama and McCain - George Bush did have charisma in his day. You know how they say kids say the darndest things. Well, so does our prez, and we never get tired of it.
We should change election laws just to run George (junior) against Slick William, resurrect those old warriors forget the boring posers running today. You know, reality TV for politics.
Can the public tell the difference ?
Larry,
of course it matters. A healthy democracy depends on a reliable press. our press is a joke. It’s made up of teenie boppers prtending to be what they think are grownup journalists.
Bob,
By “pali jew butcher” I mean Abbas. That’s his portrait beside the portrait of comrade Che. I used the phrase “random jew butcher” because there’s really no difference between pali icons. If you click on that site you’ll find another shot of the same guy with a portrait of Big Daddy Yasser. I realize Abbas is head of Fatah and Fatah is the “moderate” pali group (Hamas being the other) but it’s really only a difference between driving the jews into the sea and killing the jews first, then and dumping them in the sea.
So instead of trying to remember all those funky pali names, I find the term “random jew butcher” pretty much covers ‘em all.
Obama, Che, Yasar, Random jew butcher.
I havn’t seen any new episodes of the hit pali kids show “Pioneers of Tomorrow” lately. Has the jew eating rabbit been replaced by the Snufleufagus who teaches kids how to pack nails into pipe bombs yet?
There is nothing like a good conspiracy theory to liven things up. You guys can be such spoil sports…
checking spelling and stuff.
R. Smith, please my friend—cut it. I am now sorry I posted that remark. To be very serious for a change, no, degrees don’t matter much. I wouldn’t be surprised if you rake-in a far higher salary than I do, for instance. Truth be told my salary stinks. There.
But on the topic: It does not matter what the press does, or whom they ‘favor’. I think most people already have their minds made up. I do. But I cannot anyone who—its one o’ them “personnel matters”. Yeah, its a personnel matter. Easiest way to keep something secret these days!
My, my we have the right wingers in good form today. At their best. I was wondering what a “pali jew butcher “ is or was ? Oh, and Greta with the David Axelrod conspiracy theory that he invented Obama.
Yeah, real men use “spell czech.“
Blah, blah, blah, rant, rant, rant by R.Smith blah
When the picture in the attic starts to ooze through the ceiling I hope that it covers David Axelrod with the slime of Obama’s aimiability….

Pay special attention to the artists other inspirational figures in the background.
(pssstt.. it’s Che, JC and some random pali jew butcher.)
larry,
Well…look at it this way. If I’d stayed in school instead of doing something useful, I’d be part of the embarrasment for which this blog entry was posted. Or more likely, I WOULD be in jail because I don’t think I could handle working in such an atmosphere without eventually losing it and twisting some Obama worshipping reporters head off and kicking it down the street like a soccer ball.
I just don’t have that level of self control.
NOTE:!!!!
I want you all to witness history. Today, I will be the first person to display my deep intellect and limitless rethorical resourcefulness by uttering the following phrase…
illegal Obama regime.
The press threw the election. He was selected, not elected.
Wow…I could actually feel my IQ drop 20 points with the utterence of each cliche’ It feels good to be more stupider. Now I understand the attraction to the crack house philosophy of modern liberalism.
Jails are loaded with ‘real men’ already!
