I was at a Renaissance Faire once and there was a guy selling various medieval torture devices - both genuine and reproductions.  Thumb screws, flails, even an iron maiden. 

Ever since then I know that in addition to being nerdy, all those crazy reenactors in the SCA are all sadistic murderers - I mean, some of those freaks actually COLLECT that stuff!

And then there were the dragon jewelry and pentagram pendants.  Devil worshippers, satanists and baby sacrificers, all of them.

Larry, Stoogebob didn’t say gun “places”, he said gun “shows”. I don’t even know what you mean by a “gun place” but, a gun show is a specific reference to a specific event. It’s important because to leftist stooges like bob, gun shows have become the primary target of the otherwise impotent anti gun cult. Because most people have never been to a gun show, they are susecptible to lies, misimformation and sophmoric propaganda about them. For instance, the “gun show loophole” lie. Stooges portray this as a way for seedy underworld types to sell AK’s by the hundreds without any oversight. What it is in truth is that you or I could carry our own gun to a show and sell it…just as we could anywhere, from our front portch, in the classifieds, at a flea market ect. Many people take guns to shows to sell or trade because that’s where the people looking to buy guns are.

So when a stooge like bob tries to portray a specific event like a gun show as some sort of recruting center for nazi’s and klansman, those of us who’ve actually attended them must respond.

It would be the same if stoogeB tried to say that all HAM radio operators are criminals because he knew a guy with a radio who was a criminal.

Oh…and stoogebob will take pleasure in knowing that Bart blogged about the guys selling WW2 nazi collectibles some time ago. Like stoogebob, Bart found their presense distressing. Unlike stoogebob, Bart didn’t misrepresent who and what they are, he merly said it didn’t look good to have a table full of SS badges, Wermacht helmets and Gestapo insignia on display because such items can be easily misrepresented in the media…which tends to be stooge friendly, even if they were authentic collectables that a hundred granpa’s brought back from the war.

Of course, if you look at the price tag for some of these items, it’s obvious that not many are going to end up in some skinheads collection alongside his Agnostic Front albums.

Some people simply like to collect historical artifacts from the darkest of times. Jim Crow memoribilia is very popular among black collectors. Does this mean they harbor a secret desire to join the klan? Of course not.

Back to the topic: “Implied threat of violence if you do not believe the big lie!“ True, we all are only one step away from dictatorship. If the Army followed Obama Jeep’s orders to impose marshall law, limit travel, freeze bank accts., and redistribute wealth to minorities, then there is little that you and I can do about it.

Yeah, we could pull out our home guns and shoot the Army person coming up the driveway, then they level the house and kill the occupants on the street. Could it happen? Yes.

How much of the Army is minority? Class envy and hatred has been building for years. They have the muscle, we do not. Australia is looking good!

R, Smith, I was bolstering Bob’s claim, because 1 or 2 people posted claiming they’ve seen nothing of the sort at gun places. I’m not saying that all gun owners are crazy racists. But the stuff is out there. Bob wasn’t hallucinating.

Now what do you think about Iran? Should we jump over there & help out those poor sweet innocent oppressed students, who’s only crime is to tear the streets apart in mob fashion? Maybe we’ve got nothing else to worry with? What do you think dear sir?

So you know of a “guy” who sells nazi and klan stuff so, that justifies stooge’s claim that gun shows, attended by hundreds of thousands, even millions, of people each year, are hotbeds of nazi and klan recruitment?

I would also ask stoogebob this….how does a sharp minded man like himself overlook all the Soviet war memoribilia without coming to the similar conclusion….that gun shows are avid Obama supporters?

Maybe ed could chime in, pretend to examine each side and finally conclude that it’s all a plot by CEO’s and neocons.

Bob and others are still mired in old news. But then the DEMS have been waiting for years to impose their agenda on the rest of us. The “perfect political storm” was last year and we elected a community organizer as President. Sad.

And by conscience I have to put this out, in defense of Bob’s claim. There’s a store in Hanover (which I will not name) that sells, among other things, guns. Included amongst its collectibles are/were Klan robes, hoods, and of course just various antique artifacts.

One day a friend of mine took an old rifle there, to sell it to the store. The guy behind the counter said, “I hope ya shot a lot of n***ers with it!“
